Pacific Paediatrics Association Conference 2025

The Oceania Pacific Health Association (OPHA) was proud to support the Pacific Paediatrics Association Conference 2025, held under the theme: "Pacific Child Health: Examining the Past, Defining the Present, and Moving Towards a Brighter Future."

We are honoured to stand alongside our Pacific colleagues in strengthening the future of child and adolescent health across Oceania and our Blue Pacific region.

Over three incredible days, health leaders, clinicians, researchers, and advocates came together to:

  • Build stronger regional collaborations

  • Reflect on how early childhood and adolescent brain development science can inform culturally safe, community-led care across these important life stages.

  • Celebrate the dedicated work happening across the Pacific to support children and adolescents, even in the face of workforce and resource challenges

Countries represented were: Nauru, Palau, Tuvalu, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, Aotearoa and Australia.

Congratulations to all the inspiring presenters, including our OPHA Board member rep, Paediatrician Eta Raicebe and a special vinaka vakalevu to the Pacific Paediatric Assoication organisers, partners, and sponsors who made this event possible.

Together, we move forward — committed to a healthier, stronger, and more connected Pacific!
